Kuami Eugene Involved In a Gory Accident
Aspiring president and leader of the New Force, Nana Kwame Bediako, aka Cheddar, has vowed to make sure Ashanti Region gets its own sea port if elected as the next president.
He made this promise during an interview on Kumasi-based Abusua FM today (Monday, March 18, 2024)
Meanwhile, the Ashanti Region is landlocked, therefore making his promise appear vague to the masses.
In his presentation, Nana Kwame Bediako cited a place that lacked sea but was able to dredge to make it happen or be possible.
Nana Kwame Bediako made mention of Dubai, the Suez Canal in Egypt, and many others.
After Nana Bediako’s video went viral, Ghanaians reacted to the promise Nana Kwame Bediako made.
Ghanaian businessman Kwadwo Sheldon said in his video that dredging the sea in Kumasi is impossible, his reason being that Kumasi is a landlocked area, which makes dredging an impossible project.
Also, he made mention that dredging the sea to Kumasi is not the priority of most Ghanaians, especially the Ashanti’s.
If canals are to be created, they also have a lot of side effects, and he doesn’t think we have the resources to embark on such projects. Some of these effects include displacement of people, and if he’s voted for, how long would it take for him to dredge the sea?
Nana Kwame Bediako also made mention of the construction and expansion of railways in Ghana. Kwadwo Sheldon commended that the construction of railways is a very possible project to achieve, and it would go a long way to help solve about 90% of Ghanaians transport issues.
